Dr. Guy W. Moorman, Jr. DMD
Dr. Moorman is a lifelong native of Douglas and Coffee County and is a graduate of Coffee County High School in 1962. He attended Emory University for 3 years for pre-dental and was accepted to Emory University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1969 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He joined the US Army as a captain in the US Army Dental Corps. After serving a 2-year tour of active duty, he returned to Douglas and began his dental practice in 1971.
Dr. Moorman retired from active practice in 2015 but is a lifelong learner and has continued to attend continuing education meetings and is an active contributor on several professional discussion boards. He has even had opportunities throughout his career to teach at several root canal classes across the country. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Southwest District Dental Association.
Dr. Griff M. Lindsey, DMD
Dr Griff Lindsey was born and raised in Douglas, Ga, where he graduated from Coffee High School in 1993. He attended University of Georgia in Athens where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 1997. After graduating he attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta where he completed his Doctorate of Dentistry degree in 2002.
Wanting to stay up to date on all of the latest dental procedures and technologies, Dr. Lindsey attends numerous continuing education courses throughout the year to advance his dental training. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Southwest Georgia Dental Association. In 2011 he completed a 360 hour MCG Maxi-course in implant dentistry and now is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implantology.
Dr. Lindsey met his wife Allison while attending Douglas First Methodist church. They feel very fortunate to make their home in the Coffee county area where they together have raised their children Jacob, Emily, son-in-law Brent, Brady and Noah. The family is very active in the community and in their church at St. Mark United Methodist. Dr. Lindsey has been fortunate to travel on mission trips to El Salvador for the past eight years. When away from the office, Dr Lindsey enjoys spending time with his family and sharing his love of the outdoors, especially camping, hiking, shooting, hunting. His passion is falconry and he is currently a director for the Georgia Falconry Association.
Dr. G. Lance Crawford, DMD
Dr. Lance Crawford was born in Waycross, Ga but moved to Douglas and graduated from Coffee High School in 1999. He attended Valdosta State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science for Biology in 2003. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Crawford moved to Tifton, Ga to practice for three years at Tift Regional Dental Group. In 2010, he and his family decided to move back to his hometown and join the practice with Guy W. Moorman, Jr and Griff M. Lindsey.
Dr. Crawford is a constant learner and is dedicated to practicing at the top of his field. He attends multiple continuing education courses through the year and his desk is covered with the latest dental publications and journals. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Southwest Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Crawford and his wife April have four children-Ensley, Caroline, Cohen and Lundie. His family are active members at Douglas First Baptist Church. Dr. Crawford enjoys golfing, sporting events, traveling, fishing, and hunting.
